MY STORY

I used to be that shy and unconfident kid in School who couldn't even speak few words in public. I slowly realized that it was a lot to do with my constant fear of being judged and how others would perceive me.

Fast forward to my 20s, I started my journey to become a Chartered Accountant (India) and thoroughly enjoyed those super focused, studious days. What I loved even more was my Internship/ Articleship for three years with PwC. I later transitioned to the Advisory team in the same organization for few years. I learnt so much and I really grew as a person. I also overcame my fear of public speaking by taking active participation in training sessions. Who thought a guy who couldn't even speak few words in front of ten people could conduct training sessions or host events in front of so many people. Best way to OVERCOME your fears is by FACING them. It works like magic! :)

There are two aspects of my personal life that have shaped my thinking and helped me progress. First is NETWORKING - Meeting people and focusing on making the conversation about them and not me. A very powerful method to make genuine connections. Second is the DISCIPLINE towards anything I do in my life. For example my running journey - More than running a marathon, it's about the commitment to the routine and doing it repeatedly to get the results. I have applied this to my professional life as well. This is one of the most important ingredient in life to help us succeed at anything we do.

I'm just here to share what I have learnt over a decade of professional experience right from being an intern to a team leader. My journey continues and I will keep sharing as it unfolds. I hope you ENJOY the content.
